Title: Fun Size Twix

Medium: Oil On Board

Framed Size: 40cm x 36cm

P.O.A.

The name 'Twix' is a portmanteau derived from 'Twin biscuit sticks'. Twix was created by Mars Limited in the UK in 1967 at the company's factory in Slough which is also where the current Mars Bar was invented by Forrest Mars Sr. in the 1930's.

I have painted many Twix bars in various sizes. Throughout its long history, the Twix bar has gone through many limited editions and spin-offs of the original creation. I love the iconic logo and it's gold coloured wrapper which is fascinating to paint with all the reflections and colour transitions.

This painting is currently on loan at the Museum of Brands in my 'Brushstrokes to Brands' exhibition but will be available in 2024. For enquiries please call Steven: 07799113378 or CONTACT
