During the pandemic I rediscovered a passion for still life painting. I was looking through my son's toys and I descovered some of my old cars and Lego. Realising how individual items can hold memories and emotions from many years ago I began looking at how you can use them in paintings to stir memories of a place or even create a portrait of someone.

I have many great memories playing with Lego Space Figures as a child and I'm sure my son will too.
