When I find an item I want to include in a larger composition I usually do a small painting of the individual item to familiarise myself with it's colours and textures etc. These small works can often turn out to be some of my favourite paintings and look great in small groups of similar paintings. This painting is of a Bounty chocolate bar in an original 1970's wrapper.
